How gorgeous is this color? The vibrant blue color of this smoothie comes from Blue Spirulina.

If you’re a fan of Juice Press - this is a Blue Magic copycat!

SPIRULINA is a potent source of nutrients packed with antioxidants, vitamins & minerals. It contains a powerful plant-based protein called phycocyanin, which contains antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties. Blue spirulina is very similar to green spirulina, however it does not have that fishy taste or smell - you can’t even taste it at all!

SPIRULINA haș been recognized for its superior health benefits including:
Boosting immunity
Anti-inflammatory
Lowers cholesterol
Can improve digestion & bowel health
Aids in removing heavy metals & toxins
Improves allergies

MACA is a root that may help the body adapt to stress. Also known to help energy, stamina, aid in hormonal balance & improve mood.

I know everyone doesn’t just have spirulina in the cabinet, so you can absolutely omit and still have a delicious vanilla smoothie, it just won’t have the beautiful blue hue. My son absolutely loved this smoothie, he thought the blue was super fun! Apparently you can also use to make blue pancakes, we will try that soon!
