I LOVE oatmeal but it doesn’t completely fill me up so I love to add protein to make it a more complete meal. By adding the protein & healthy fat, it keeps me full & energized until lunch! Overnight oats make for a great on the go breakfast!
The vanilla protein also adds sweetness & flavor, so I don’t add any extra sweetener.

 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 2 scoops @nuzest_usa vanilla protein (or protein of choice)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1/2 to 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup + 2 TBSP water or nut milk

  • Pinch of sea salt

 

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together and store in the fridge overnight in an airtight container.

  2. When you’re ready to eat, add your favorite toppings. I like to add fresh berries plus a healthy fat like nuts, nut butter or hemp seeds. Here I added hemp seeds & my favorite sunflower seed butter @sunbutter.
