This smoothie is so refreshing for summer! I’m actually blown away by how amazing adding ginger & cucumber to this smoothie just sets it off. You really want to try this one!

Hemp seeds pack a nutrient punch. 3 TBSP of these little power seeds contains 10 grams of plant based protein, good healthy fat, fiber & Omega-3s & 6s. Omegas are fatty acids that help to support healthy cholesterol levels, immune function, heart heart and may help regulate your metabolism. Hemp seeds are also a great source of vitamin E & minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron & zinc.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries (blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry)

  • 1/4 cup frozen mango

  • 1 cup frozen raw zucchini

  • 1/4 cup fresh cucumber (skin on)

  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger (peeled)

  • 3 TBSP hemp seeds

  • 1 cup non dairy unsweetened milk or water

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender. Enjoy!

Notes
I also tried this smoothie with @nuzest_usa smooth vanilla protein powder and it was delicious. You could also use unflavored protein or collagen. If you end up using a different protein source instead of the hemp seeds, you could cut the hemp serving in half.
